A sure sign of winter.  The small bodies of water are showing the ice patterns as the temperatures continue to drop in our northern latitude.  Soon the the ice will cover the lakes and rivers, then for a brief amount of time before the snow comes the ice patterns on the surface of the ponds will be a journey into the wonderful world of patterns.
